Founder's Bio

Erik H. Rind, Founder and President – is one of the nation's leading experts in payroll processing and human resources functionality. Erik's credentials were initially established as a member of the human resources consulting group at Price Waterhouse where he designed and implemented new payroll systems for the civilian employees of the Navy (NAVSCIPS), the Army (STARCIPS) and the Central Intelligence Agency.

As a senior manager with Price Waterhouse, Erik authored the protocol for the federal government's JFMIP (Joint Financial Managers Improvement Program) that redefined the requirements for processing human resource and payroll transactions for federal government employees. Erik has designed and led payroll/HR implementations for some of the nations most complex pay systems including Dole Foods, LTV Steel, TRW, Northrop Aviation, Charles Schwab, and State Street Global Advisors. In the past decade, Erik has played vital technology development roles as part of the founding team in several privately-held payroll service providers, including one which was sold to Ceridian and another which attracted significant funding from Aspen Ventures. In establishing Lyceum Business Services in 2003, Erik has been able to realize his vision of enabling organizations to access an internet based payroll/HR processing environment that is customized to suit their exact operational requirements.
